Care needs can look very different from one person to another. That’s why we offer both companion care and personal care.
Everyday Help, Companionship & Support
Companion care is a good option for someone who may still manage most of their personal care independently but could benefit from company, supervision, household help, errands, transportation, or assistance with everyday routines.
Hands-On Assistance With Daily Activities
Personal care is designed for people who need more hands-on help with activities of daily living in addition to the companionship and household support available through companion care.

Respite Care
Family caregivers need time for work, appointments, errands, rest, and their own responsibilities. Respite care provides dependable support so a family caregiver can step away knowing their loved one is not alone.
Light Housekeeping
Help with everyday household tasks such as laundry, linens, dishes, tidying, and light cleaning can make staying at home more manageable and comfortable.
Meal Preparation
Caregivers can assist with simple meal preparation, grocery-related tasks, and keeping regular meals part of the daily routine.
Transportation & Errands
Assistance may include transportation to appointments, grocery shopping, errands, social outings, and other everyday destinations.
Companionship
Sometimes what matters most is simply having someone there — to talk, share a meal, take a walk, play a game, or provide reassuring company throughout the day.
Routine & Reminder Support
Caregivers can help someone stay on track with daily routines, appointments, meals, and medication reminders while encouraging as much independence as possible.

Your Needs Don’t Have to Fit Into a Box
Some families need a few hours of support. Others need regular assistance throughout the week or more extensive care as a loved one’s needs change.
We work with families to create a schedule based on the person’s needs, the type of assistance required, and the family’s existing support system.
And if those needs change over time, the care plan and schedule can be revisited too.

How Care Is Paid For
Our services are available through private pay and may also be covered by long-term care insurance, depending on your policy. Home Sweet Home Care is not currently a Medicaid provider.
If you have long-term care insurance, your insurance company can help you determine the specific benefits and requirements included in your policy.
